Quick introductions.
Everybody, meet Chuckie. (Or at least a reasonable facsimile thereof...) I got him, barely used, from another local spinner/knitter/fiber fanatic who was cleaning her basement. She doesn't have a blog, but I'll still say, thank you Meghan!

With the addition of Chuckie, my initial preparations for my mini-empire are now complete! Bwahahahahahaha!
Actually, with the addition of Chuckie, AND last night's fortuitous purchase of this.

The new Ashford Book of Carding. Available only god-knows-where-but-not-on-Amazon, and at my Local Yarn Store. I've pretty much read it all the way through since last night and I must say that it is a must have for those of us who are new to manipulating fiber like this, and also who are basically idiots.
So now I get to play.
Once I'm done knitting.
