Sadness has fallen on Dog-Topia today.  Today Conan and Sydney's best friend and roll model, and brother of Conan's girlfriend, Mr. Toby, will be put down.  He's diabetic and has been failing slowly for the past few months.  But through it all, he was always ready to protect with his teeth-of-terror and keep everyone safe with his fangs-of-fear.  Toby was the first to teach Conan the ways of the world, how to be macho, and how to lift his leg when he pees.  He's the defender of the back 40, apple of Auntie Peggy's eye and his father's big buddy.

He will be sorely missed.

The one good thing is that he will be waiting for my guys in doggie-heaven and he'll show them the ropes there too.

Thank you for everything Mr. Toby.  We love you.  Dammit, I'm crying again.
