Sometimes I forget how to use the upload function on my camera
Sometimes I just forget to use the camera at all. Once in a while I can't take pictures (of knitting) because whatever I'm doing is a S-E-C-R-E-T.
Recently its been a mixture of all of them.
No knitting pictures because I'm in the middle of 2 secret projects. Both for family members or family members to be, and who may or may not read this. So no pictures.
When it comes to MDS&W I didn't take any pictures at all this year. I know, BLASPHEMY! But, if you read Heather's blog, you'll know I was workin'. I spent Friday evening, and a lot of time on both Saturday and Sunday working for Melinda at Tess' Designer Yarns. And I had a great time doing it. AND I got paid in yarn. But some of the yarn is being used for the previously mentioned secrets, so no pictures.
I did get to kibbitz with a lot of really nice people tho, both in and out of the booth. I met Jess, of Frecklegirl and now of Ravelry fame. I haunted the Goldings' booth. Had to talk myself out of a few of their new spindles, though now one or two of them are haunting me. I may have to call him... And I spent a ton of time in The Merlin Tree booth (Dave, dude, we gotta get you a more updated website!), where I got to spin and touch and play with the new spindles he's making, and I bought myself a Hitchhiker. I figure I deserved it. I've been thinking about one since last years festival. I got the one with the green wheel and treadle. Her name is Penelope.
Other than that, I've been working. It didn't take long for reality to slam me upside the head after Sheep and Wool weekend. At least this week was better than the last. Its always good to end a week with a good visual. So my visual was proof of the fact that yes, I am a good salesman-woman (or sales-person if you want to be PC).
I call this, EMPIRE. Its pictures of one of my customers' stores. He has 3 toy stores, and this is from the largest. Every bin that you see is filled with MY product. Which will mean nothing to most of you. Except maybe Heather.

Now, you'll have to excuse me. Conan's squirming on my lap, Sydney's wheezing, and I have to go finish getting everything ready so I can leave ass-crack early in the morning for the National Stationery Show.

What a nice looking store. Your products are certainly very colorful. One of these days I need to ask you what you do exactly ... maybe at one of the knit gatherings I'll host at my new house this summer!
