When faced with adversity what does any red-blooded American female do?
She gets a funny pedicure. Duh.
And then she takes pictures. Man, I have ugly feets.
Well, the stress of our Sydney being sick and the added fun fact that the big wedding that my SIL-to-be was planning is off (they're still getting married, just not a fancy wedding) after I've spent about $2k that is non-refundable, it all finally got to me. So I had my toesies painted. It helped.
In Sydney news, its two steps forward one step back basically. Though today seemed to be a no step back day. Mr. Popularity finally consented to have pictures taken too.
There's been a lot of singing of 'Every-body's worried 'bout a Sydney' here (sung to the tune of How do you solve a problem like Maria - from The Sound of Music). Apparently even Unca Jer has been calling home every day to find out how his buddy is. And my parents have been calling for daily updates.
Conan says everybody can stop worrying now.
Maybe even focus on him for a bit now. Ok?
I took some knitting pictures too.
These are the Jaywalkers I finished from some of Amy's stuff. Its called Melon. I call it BRIGHT.
The pictures don't do it justice. Even the ones I took with a flash. And the flashing of the yarn looks better in real life.
I took pictures of the in-progress Dublin Bay socks too. (Yeah, I know I should be linking to everything, but I'm too lazy right now.)
I wasn't lying when I said they were red.

Get well soon, Sid - Love, Fiberlicous. PS - your mom's toes are cool, and her knitting is gorgeous!
