I am seriously in the mood for a new spindle.
Just in case anybody cares, or wants to get me one. Its not like I really need another one, but hey, can one seriously ever have too many spindles? NO WAY!
There has been knitting, but nothing too exciting. Though there is a secret project I'm working on. Maybe I'll talk about it some other day.
Sydney had some minor surgery done on his noggin today. He had two cysts/warts/somethings removed. My guy was super brave. Didn't flinch when they shot the novocaine in even. And now he's got stitches, which make him macho and cool. He doesn't even seem to be in too much discomfort now that the stuff has worn off either. As I type he's out cold on the floor of the office.
Conan was brave too. Its hard not to be when you can't be seen because you're sitting on The Chair of Invisibility. You ask, what is The Chair of Invisibility? Go ahead, ask, you know you want to. Its a chair in the exam room that he sits/lies on, usually resting on or behind my purse. I tell him no one can see him, especially the doctor. Then we tell everyone that he's invisible. Oddly, it keeps him from shaking like a leaf. He was even wagging at the doctor today. It works.
But the real reason I decided to blog tonite? http://www.armyofwomen.org/ (yeah, still don't know what's up with that hyperlink feature). It was on TV today. I like the premise, that they are trying to research what causes breast cancer, since so much is being done on how to cure it. They need women of all ages and backgrounds to register. It doesn't cost anything to do, so why not? C'mon.
Anyway, that was my good deed for the day.

If you get a spindle, then I should get one too! Not that I have any yet, or fiber but I firmly intend to try my hand at spinning. *cuddles the nice little puppies*
